A glass of champagne can be just as expensive as a glass and can sometimes be a better value.

But how much should you spend?

And should you keep one at home or rent a bottle for the road?

If you’re not sure, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best bargains for wine in Australia.

Find out what we know about wine prices and the best way to save them.

Best Budget Wine Deals for 2018 The first time you open your Christmas card, the price may seem a little high, but that’s because the price of wine has gone up over the years.

The average retail price of a bottle of wine in the year to January 2019 was AUD $12.35, compared to $9.50 in the previous year, according to data from Wine.com.

That’s an increase of 12 per cent over the previous two years.

In fact, the average retail value of a glass (excluding water) in Australia is now $13.95, up by 7 per cent from 2017.

In 2018, there were 7.7 million bottles of wine on offer in Australia, up from 6.2 million in 2017, according the Australian Consumer Law Institute.

While you can’t go wrong with a bottle, there are some bargains to consider.

There’s plenty of variety in terms of quality and price.

The best wines are aged for six months, meaning they should be fairly good.

However, they may have a tendency to age a bit too quickly and become too bitter, so it’s worth buying a couple of bottles before you go to bed to get them up to date.

Another way to look at it is that if you want to get the best bang for your buck, you should buy a couple more bottles to save on the price tag.

The more bottles you buy, the less expensive they are, so if you’re planning to spend more, the more expensive they can be. 2.
